Compact 2-in-1 Electric Oven & Air Fryer

Received a call at work from my niece announcing she'd be visiting tomorrow. Realizing it's been ages since our last gathering, I decided it's time for a grand culinary welcome. With three nieces whose tastes and preferences I've watched evolve over the years, I'm well-equipped to cater to their culinary delights. My recent acquisition, a compact air fryer oven, is about to make its debut. The decision to purchase this multifunctional kitchen gadget was partly influenced by my oversight during our home renovation. Without a designated spot for such an appliance, it found its home on the living room island. This placement meant size and versatility were crucial in my selection process. Super into this compact airfryer – it fits perfectly on my counter and looks pretty snazzy, kind of has that retro vibe, which I'm all about. The top's got this roundness to it, reminds me of those old-school TVs. It's dead easy to use and cleaning's a piece of cake. Just grab a sponge, a little soap, and rinse it off a couple of times. You gotta do it after every use, but it's only like a 3-4 minute job. Perfect size for cooking up four chicken breasts, and I've been using it for everything - homemade fries, chicken parts, salmon, steaks, and they all come out so good. It's foolproof. This is actually my second one. The first lasted me three years with me using it around 3x a week, but from what I've seen, that's pretty standard so no biggie. Only wish the pan was stainless steel – the dishwasher made the original one look a bit rough. Luckily, I found a stainless steel pan that fit well enough, just had to tweak it slightly with a rubber mallet to make it perfect. I'd totally pay extra if it came with a stainless steel pan instead of the aluminum one.

The dials aren't super precise, so you kinda have to guess a bit, but I've had no trouble with the timer. Just twist it past and then back to the time you want. If you gotta open it up to check on your food, the fan stops, but the timer keeps going if it's not done yet. Kinda wish it had a light inside so you wouldn't have to open it to check on things. Remember to move it forward on your counter when using it; otherwise, you can't open the door all the way, which makes it tricky to pull the tray out. And yeah, it gets hot, so keep it away from the wall and cabinets. Can't fit a whole chicken in there, but pieces or a couple of Cornish hens? No problem. The basket and drip tray might seem a bit flimsy but cleaning them hasn't been too hard. I've been lining the drip tray with parchment paper, which helps a ton. And a nylon brush works wonders for the basket. Cleaning the inside's super easy too, just needs a quick wipe. Honestly, this thing's gone way beyond what I expected... kind of like my own Easy Bake Oven. Absolutely a five-star gadget!

Absolutely adore my new kitchen buddy! It's like having a mini chef at home. Baked a batch of cookies and they were divine. Cleanup? What cleanup? It's that easy.
